My career in healthcare spans for more than 15 years, and throughout it all, one thing has remained constant: my passion for helping patients advocate and gain access to the care they need. I spent six of those years as a Medical Assistant, working directly with patients. I saw firsthand the frustration and hardship patients experienced when treatment plans were delayed—not because the care wasn’t available, but because of the administrative processes behind it. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from Florida International University, which sparked my interest in the operational side of patient care.

 

My career then led me into psychiatry, where I was introduced to TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), became a Lead Treater and was soon after promoted to Procedure Coordinator, where I took on the responsibility of helping introduce and implement SPRAVATO® within the practice. As the program grew, I became the Manager of the Treatment Department for two locations, leading a team of eight and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the treatment programs. During this time, I earned my Master’s degree in Business Administration from LSU-Shreveport.

 

I then joined Syneos Health, working on behalf of Johnson & Johnson, as a SPRAVATO® Patient Access Manager/Field Reimbursement Manager. This allowed me to experience SPRAVATO® from another perspective—working closely with physicians and practice staff to help navigate patient access, reimbursement, and the challenges that can stand between a treatment plan and a patient actually starting treatment.

 

After experiencing the process from both sides, I realized there was an opportunity to help practices bridge the gap.

 

I created The TRD Blueprint LLC because I understand what it’s like to sit in the office, manage the workflow, support the staff, work through insurance requirements, and ultimately see how administrative delays affect patients who are waiting to begin treatment. I want to help practices create streamlined, sustainable SPRAVATO® processes that work for providers, their staff, and—most importantly—their patients.

 

I bring a unique combination of clinical experience, practice management, healthcare administration, and SPRAVATO® patient access and reimbursement expertise to every practice I work with.
